End of the Year Stats & Records Updates: There is some information that I need people to send in, and some that I can collect myself. Please read the information below:
- Single Season Wins & Most Freshman wins - These are now updated based on the state tourney brackets. The only wrestlers that should send this info in are those that did not qualify for States yet still qualify for these records pages. (Thanks to Bob Prinz for his help with the Freshman Wins)
- Career Wins - if you are a senior, please send in your final career record, including both wins & losses.
- Academic Excellence - if you were a state qualifier and have a cumulative GPA of 3.75+, send in your name, weight class, grade in school, and team.
- Multiple time State Champs and Placers - I will update this page myself. You do not need to send in any info.
- Coach wins - I need updated records to be sent in. Please make sure to include years and schools.
- College signings - if you are a senior and have signed to wrestle in college, send in your name, high school, and college. This must come from a coach, the wrestler himself, or a parent of the wrestler.
- Please note that it takes a lot of time to update all these records so please be patient, I will get to them all as soon as I can.
- If you are hosting a tournament this offseason, please send a flyer to be put on the Events Calendar.
- Coaches can also send in info for the Openings page for next season.
- The Coaching Vacancies/Coaches Looking for Jobs page has been updated for the 09-10 season

- Congratulations to Eloheim Palma of Cary on being selected to represent Team USA in the Dapper Dan Classic. This is quite an honor as only one senior is selected per weight class from the country to compete in an all-star match against Pennsylvania's top seniors. (Dapper Dan website). Palma is the 5th North Carolina wrestler to be selected. Others were Seth Richards (Jordan, 1990), Mike Kendall (Albemarle, 1991), JohnMark Bentley (Avery County, 1997), and Ty Reynolds (High Point Central, 1999).
- Please send in Conference Coach & Wrestler of the Year Awards results. A couple of things to keep in mind (1) the Wrestler of the Year is not the same thing as the Conference Tournament MOW. (2) I am not asking for nominations. NC Mat has no input in these awards, they are selected by each conference.
